For a product's Image Gallery to be effective and help close the sale, it is essential to offer a complete visual experience. It's not just about quantity, but about showing different angles and contexts.
The background preferably pure white or neutral. Show the entire product, centered and well-lit with high resolution quality so the user can zoom in without pixelation.
Show what the customer cannot touch. Front, side, back, and top views. Capture textures, seams, connection ports, material labels, or special finishes. This builds trust in the quality.
Help the customer imagine using the product in its natural environment (e.g., shoes being worn on the street). These photos convey aspiration and emotionally connect with the buyer.
Avoid unpleasant surprises about size. Show the product next to a common object (like a hand, a phone, or a coin) or use infographics with exact measurements written on the photo.
Show exactly what the customer will receive. If the packaging is premium, include it. If it includes cables, manuals, cases, or additional pieces, make sure they appear in one of the final photos. Use JPG or WebP files so the page loads quickly without losing quality.
