New features have been added to the website editor to make it easier to review changes before publishing them, restore previous versions, and access the published site.
With this update:
- A preview before saving has been added, allowing you to view changes made to the site without publishing them in desktop, tablet, and mobile versions.
From the preview, you can save changes directly, reload the view, or open it in a new tab.
- A version management system has been added that preserves the latest copies of the site and allows you to preview them individually and restore the desired version.
When you restore a version, its content is loaded into the editor for review. Changes are only published when you click Save Changes.
The system notifies you when the selected version is identical to the content that is already published.
The Save Changes button remains disabled when there are no pending changes to save and displays an explanation of the reason when you hover over it.
- A shortcut has been added to open the published site.
These improvements make it easier to review and restore versions, check changes before publishing them, and quickly access the website.
